Military deployed to the border

President Donald Trump has ordered the deployment of thousands of additional active-duty troops to the southern border with Mexico, building on his first-day commitment to increase the military's presence on the border. The directive comes as part of a broader effort to address immigration and security concerns along the border.

Currently, approximately 2,200 active-duty personnel are stationed at the border under the US Northern Command's mission, known as Joint Task Force-North, based in El Paso, Texas. Additionally, around 4,500 National Guardsmen are deployed under Operation Lone Star, a Texas National Guard initiative.

Details about the specific units to be sent remain unclear, but the new deployment is expected to enhance the capabilities of Joint Task Force-North. The additional troops will assist in command-and-control operations, provide intelligence support to evaluate threats and migrant movements, and ensure operational readiness for US Customs and Border Protection agents, according to a report by CNN.The Trump administration is expected to deploy even more active-duty troops in the next few weeks and months. It is unclear if the troops will be armed.

Federal law prohibits active duty troops from being permitted to carry out a law enforcement role, such as performing arrests or seizing drugs, without authorization. However, on inauguration day, President Trump signed an executive order declaring a national emergency at the southern border. As part of the order, Trump said he would decide within 90 days whether or not to invoke the Insurrection Act at the border, which would allow active duty troops to be used for law enforcement.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Jan. 21 directed prosecutors to investigate instances when state and local officials seek to obstruct immigration enforcement.

Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove said in a memorandum to all department employees that the U.S. Constitution requires state and local actors to comply with federal immigration enforcement and that federal law bars the actors from resisting, obstructing, and otherwise failing to comply with lawful immigration-related commands from the Executive Branch.

“The U.S. Attorney’s Offices and litigating components of the Department of Justice shall investigate incidents involving any such misconduct for potential prosecution, including for obstructing federal function” in violation of a law that prohibits conspiracy to commit an offense against or defraud the federal government, Bove said in the three-page document, a copy of which was published by Politico.

That law carries a prison term of up to five years for each count.

Bove also pointed to another law that bars individuals from bringing illegal immigrants into the United States, or harboring them in the country. Violators can receive up to 20 years in prison and can even be executed if a violation results in the death of any person.

President Donald Trump’s administration has already started a mass deportation effort, targeting illegal immigrants whom officials say are public safety threats. The administration this week authorized arrests of illegal immigrants at churches, schools, and other places previously designated off-limits as “sensitive sites” in most cases.

DOJ officials will, where appropriate, “take legal action to challenge such laws,” Bove wrote.

Bove also said that the DOJ will resume the practice of pursuing the most serious offense that prosecutors can prove. That practice was in place during the first Trump administration. Under former President Joe Biden, officials revoked the policy and encouraged prosecutorial discretion.

If Mexico and Canada keep allowing uncontrolled masses of illegal immigrants and untold amounts of fentanyl to flow into the U.S., they’ll begin facing massive 25% tariffs. The president announced yesterday that he could implement those as soon as February 1st. Read more.

All foreign aid programs will be reviewed, and only those that “align with American interests” will be kept.

Death Penalty Restored:

Trump's first EO's aimed at nuetering the Deep State?

Interesting what his first EOs were at the arena.

It wasn't the border. It wasn't inflation. It wasn't even China. He specifically chose these to be the ones he would announce in front of a packed arena and the very top of his list.

This, coming on the heels of him forcing the resignations of tons of state officials and agency bearucrats.

How was his first orders NOT the border??? I mean, that was his #1 campaigning topic that got him reelected and he talked about the most.

Yet, his first (and loudest) executive orders he wanted damn sure to be the most dramatic - ALL instead focused on neutering any attempts the deep state had to react to his first months moves.

In case you missed it. His EOs were:

  • Prohibiting them from attempting to fill these new open positions.

  • Prohibiting beurocrats to issue any new regulations until Trump has full control of the administration.

  • Ordering all remaining federal workers back to full-time, in-person work immedietly.

  • Revoked 78 Biden EOs. Will be Interesting to see which ones that probably ensured deep state survival and growth.

  • Restoration of free speech and preventing government officials from going after it.

🇺🇸 The U.S. Senate has confirmed Marco Rubio as Secretary of State.

White liberals like the former president might not admit it, but DEI is bad for everybody. It robs deserving candidates of highly coveted opportunities and demeans the applicants it’s supposed to help by telling them, “You’re only here because you’re a minority.” That’s not exactly empowering. Read more.

🇺🇸The media reports that Trump has banned the hanging of LGBT and BLM flags on government buildings, embassies and military bases around the world.

It should be noted that the State Department's order does not directly mention these flags. It states that only the US flag, as well as some military symbols, are now permitted to be flown on government buildings.

And since under Biden it was often the practice to add other flags to them, such as LGBT and BLM, the media interpreted this as a ban on these symbols.

The Washington Free Beacon writes about this, reporting that it received a copy of this document.

Let us recall that Trump previously issued a decree that only two genders are recognized in the United States - male and female.

Mark Milley Gone

Donald Trump made major progress in his pursuit of making America great again on Monday, firing white rage-obsessed and possibly treasonous former army general Mark Milley.

Milley’s story is not as well known as it should be. During Trump’s first term, the activist chairman of the Joint Chiefs went behind the president’s back to alert China about America’s military initiatives, placing secret phone calls to his Beijing counterparts without his boss’s approval.

The real story here isn’t that Trump fired Milley. Anyone with America’s interests in mind would have done that. It’s that Biden never did. Why?

Trump orders all federal DEI employees to be placed on leave by 5:00PM Wednesday, and all DEI offices to be shutdown.

The woke nonsense is being shutdown right out of the gate.

The days of pronouns and 87 genders are over. Sanity and merit is now the law of the land.🔥

Donald Trump has ordered a communications blackout at America's federal health agencies, according to reports.

The CDC, FDA, HHS and NIH have all been told to pause external communications, including publishing scientific reports, updating websites or issuing health advisories.

Trump orders communications blackout for HHS, CDC, NIH, and FDA, until at least Feb 1st.

This is to give RFK Jr. time to take over the messaging for our corrupt health agencies. However, this is not uncommon. The same thing happened in Trump’s first term, but it’s a good sign.

The Trump administration has reportedly reassigned more than a dozen career Justice Department officials, including one who played a central role in pushing for the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.

The new assignments — given to at least 15 longtime officials — will see the federal employees remain within DOJ but in roles where they are expected to wield less influence on the department’s major decisions, the Washington Post reportedon Tuesday.

Some officials were notified they were being transferred just hours after President Trump was sworn in on Monday, according to the outlet.

Deputy Assistant Attorney General George Toscas, who has served in the DOJ’s National Security Division for nearly 20 years, is reportedly among the officials being moved.

Toscas was a key figure in the DOJ’s push for the August 2022 FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, after the 45th president allegedly defied the National Archives’ repeated requests for White House documents from his first term in office. Toscas has reportedly been reassigned to the DOJ’s new Office of Sanctuary Cities Enforcement.

"Dear MoveOn member,

In his first hours as president, Donald Trump unleashed a firestorm, taking more than 200 actions undercutting our freedoms and endangering our planet.

Trump did the following:

  • Pardoned 1,500 convicted January 6 insurrectionists—some of whom severely injured Capitol Police officers

  • Withdrew the United States from the Paris Agreement, paving the way for more fossil fuel drilling and accelerating climate catastrophe—even while wildfires continue to ravage Southern California

  • Shut our doors to refugees and asylum seekers fleeing violence, and illegally tried to end 150 years of birthright citizenship, which is protected in the Constitution

Trump has promised "shock and awe"—a strategy designed to sap our will to fight.1,2"
