208 Democrats Vote Against Legislation To Keep Noncitizens Out Of Elections

The Republican-led House passed the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act 220-208. The legislation, introduced by Texas Rep. Chip Roy, would require documentary proof of citizenship in order to register to vote.

It is now up to the Senate to take up, pass, and send this important bill to President Trump’s desk.”

The SAVE Act would amend the 1993 National Voter Registration Act to make documentary proof of citizenship a requirement to register to vote. The legislation would add the additional, necessary layer of protection to keep foreign nationals out of U.S. elections. Under the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), states are required to check information about newly registered voters in federal elections against information stored in the state’s motor vehicle administration database.

SEND IN THE TROOPS: Trump Orders Military Control of Border Lands
The Trump administration took another step Friday to reclaim America’s national sovereignty and fully secure the southern border.
In a memo sent to top-ranking cabinet members, including Pete Hegseth and Kristi Noem, President Trump ordered the military to take control of federal lands near the border and assist with “border-barrier construction and emplacement of detection and monitoring equipment.”
“Our southern border is under attack from a variety of threats,” the order states. “The complexity of the current situation requires that our military take a more direct role in securing our southern border than in the recent past.”
By giving the Department of Defense jurisdiction over the lands, soldiers have the right to detain illegal aliens as they would be trespassing on a U.S. military base. The military also has the right to detain aliens until they are handed over to immigration authorities.
It’s a common-sense move that should prove highly effective. Far better to use the military’s force and manpower right here in our backyard than to start pointless wars abroad.

President Trump and Harvard University are duking it out after the Ivy League scoffed at the administration’s demands to reform disciplinary processes for ‘antisemitic’ students, improve screening of international students, and audit left-wing indoctrination programs.

According to a new CDC study, the autism rate among American children is rising. Now, one out of 31 children, or roughly 3%, identify as autistic.
"They've again gone up dramatically, just in two years. We have in some states as low as 1 out of 20 boys having autism, 1 out of 31 kids. And when I was, in my generation today, the rate of autism was 1 in 10,000," Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said of the results. "And this is just one disease. This whole generation of kids is damaged by chronic disease."

According to Nashville police, the shooter who murdered six innocents at The Covenant Christian School in 2023 chose her victims in part because “she worried she might be branded as a racist” for sticking to the plan’s original target, a school with a predominantly black student body.
The trans-identifying killer, 28-year-old Audrey Hale, allegedly first planned to attack Creswell Middle School, which she attended as a child, and had begun plotting out the assault with “excruciating detail.” Her thinking began to change, however, when she realized she may be labeled a racist, which would “remove her ability to give the motive and reasoning for the attack and [instead] allow others to choose it for her once she was dead.”
Is this, the creation of individual moral compasses as backward as a skater’s hat, what happens when people decide they’re God? Hale longed for a legacy as a child murderer, but one as a racist? That was a bridge too far.
One of Hale’s victims wound up being black anyway, which is entirely irrelevant. Her attack remains the deadliest school shooting in Tennessee history.

Real ID - Clandestine
I’m never a fan of the government complicating my life even more, but I think this “REAL ID” situation is the gateway to voter ID.
Why? Because blue states have been handing out driver’s licenses to illegals, so a driver’s license is not secure enough to use as voter ID. A REAL ID requires confirmation of citizenship and residency, which would serve as a valid and secure form of ID, to ensure only US citizens are voting in US elections.
My guess is, that in the future, everyone will need a REAL ID, or other proof of citizenship, in order to vote in US elections, which I 100% support.
Those claiming that this is some sort of Orwellian tracking operation or government overreach, I think is preposterous. We are already being tracked every second of every day via our cell phones, cars, devices, etc.
REAL ID is necessary, because the Democrats made driver’s licenses obtainable by illegals in their states. REAL ID is the solution to a problem the Democrats created, so they can steal elections.
Ultimately, I think the REAL ID is about securing elections, hence why the Democrats hate it.
For those saying illegals can obtain REAL ID, you are mistaken.
LEGAL RESIDENTS, that can show proof of LEGAL STATUS via green card/visa, and their temporary US residence, can obtain a REAL ID.
Those who just walked across the open border and came here illegally, cannot.
Republicans Increase Child Tax Credit
Donald Trump’s presidency, paired with the GOP’s control of both Houses of Congress, gives Republicans a golden opportunity. This is their chance to prove their agenda is best for America.
Prioritizing everyday citizens rather than shilling for the country’s elites would be a great way to do it. Some party leaders like Josh Hawley and Mike Crapo understand that and are promoting the kind of populist economic policies the middle class craves and overwhelmingly supports.
Those lawmakers are reportedly leading a push to increase the hugely popular $2,000 Child Tax Credit as a part of the president’s promised tax cuts. Policies like that are typically associated with Democrats, so Republicans embracing them would help cement the party’s claim as Washington’s true champion of everyday voters.
“Renewing the tax cuts is great, but there’s no tax relief for working people in that,” Hawley recently said. “It’s working people that I’m concerned about, and more of them should be getting more of the credit.”
