Hold in mind that the purpose of the latest Iranian attack was to show the Iron Dome doesn't work. According to Andrei Martyanov, who is expert in this area, the Dome can't handle anything over mach 2. The balistic missiles are much more than that.
It was a demonstration.
It was rather deep for an explosion, but take a look at the form of it... Would the USGS lie about its depth?
🇮🇷🇮🇱Iranian missiles were able to overcome Israel's multi-layered air defense, writes the magazine "Der Spiegel".
The publication notes that this time the missile attack was significantly more successful than the previous one in April, when Israel and its allies still managed to intercept 99 percent of Iranian missiles and drones.
"They probably learned from the April attacks and chose ballistic missiles this time," says military expert Fabian Hinz of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS).
He explains that these missiles fly much faster than cruise missiles or kamikaze drones, and therefore the Israelis have less time to react.
An attack using 200 missiles would likely be the largest ballistic missile attack in world history, the expert said.
According to Iranian information, the Fatteh-1 missile, which Tehran calls hypersonic, was used for the first time. However, this term is misleading, since almost all ballistic missiles reach hypersonic speeds above Mach 5, which corresponds to about 6,000 kilometers per hour. However, real hypersonic missiles reach this speed throughout their entire flight, not just part of it.
The Fatteh-1 is not a hypersonic missile in the classic sense, but it has some features that make it more survivable. True hypersonic missiles have an unstable trajectory, which is designed to confuse air defense systems. Perhaps the Fatteh-1 has the same maneuverability. Its range is about 1,400 kilometers, and the warhead weighs up to 450 kilograms.
According to Hinz, fragments of the missiles that fell in Israel indicate that Iran has used other new missiles. These include the Cheibar Shekan missile. Its range is apparently 1,450 kilometers. Due to its high speed, both missiles could reach Israel from Iran in just a few minutes.
Iran is believed to have at least 3,000 ballistic missiles in total, so the publication notes that Israel should prepare itself for the fact that it will no longer be immune to such attacks – especially if Hezbollah and the Houthis join in with their own arsenals.

Wow. This guy really laid it out to the Spokesman for the US Secretary of State:
Zelenskyt and Trump. Zelensky really really scared.
Here's a good picture of it:
Video here so you know it was not just photoshopped:
Head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Naryshkin:
🇷🇺💬🇺🇸🇬🇧 The US and Britain were directly involved in the terrorist attack on Nord Stream - the Head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Naryshkin, "The SVR has reliable information about the direct involvement of the US and Great Britain in this major terrorist attack. According to available information, professional saboteurs from the Anglo-Saxon special services were involved in its organization, preparation and implementation."
🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦🇬🇧 Naryshkin stated that the available data indicates that Western intelligence services, primarily the British MI6, were preparing Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRG) for provocations at several nuclear power plants in Russia.
According to him, MI6 and the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense were developing an operation to blow up power lines connecting Russian nuclear power plants with the national energy system.
🇺🇦☢️🇷🇺 The Ukrainian Armed Forces planned to seize and mine the Kursk nuclear power plant, and if the plan had been carried out, Europe would have faced a disaster comparable to Chernobyl, Naryshkin stated.
"Drunk with impunity, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a real terrorist raid on the Kursk region in early August. According to SVR data, the plan for the terrorist attack included the capture and mining of the Kursk nuclear power plant," he said.

🇺🇦 Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Zaluzhny, made his first public appearance since being appointed ambassador to the UK.
The speech took place at the British defense institute RUSI. Zaluzhny posted the text of his speech on his Telegram channel.
The former commander-in-chief stated that due to the danger of new wars, Western citizens should "give up a number of freedoms for the sake of survival."
"Society must agree to temporarily give up a number of freedoms for the sake of survival. Modern wars, unfortunately, are total. They require the efforts of not only the military but society as a whole. Politicians can and must mobilize society," Zaluzhny said.
He also suggested that Western countries use Ukraine as a testing ground for new weapons and military technologies.
"Today, more than ever, Ukraine is finding ways to survive and creating technologies. But for understandable reasons, we cannot scale them. On the other hand, our partners have the resources but lack the practical field to test them. Only together can we effectively use the resources, as time is not on our side," said the former commander-in-chief.
Overall, the main point of his speech was that we need to prepare for future wars, the technologies for which are currently being tested in Ukraine. At the same time, the current war is a "transitional period war."
He also described "the very existence of Russia" as a threat.

🇺🇸🇮🇱🇮🇷The US has offered Israel a "compensation package" consisting of extensive diplomatic backing and additional military assistance if it refrains from attacking certain targets in Iran, according to Israel's Kann News
🇺🇸🇮🇱US-Israel relations are "deeply damaged" because Netanyahu has repeatedly ignored Biden's calls to de-escalate and move toward peace, The Washington Post writes.
Repeatedly over the past year, in tones ranging from supportive sympathy to cold fury, Biden has urged Netanyahu to focus on a strategic plan for peace rather than tactical military and political victories.
But Netanyahu has "publicly rejected US pleas and offers" for a ceasefire, both in Gaza and now in Lebanon, and has accused Biden of slow arms deliveries.
American and foreign officials say it is not just Hamas but Netanyahu who has repeatedly derailed talks to free Gaza hostages by making new demands at the last minute.
Israel has also repeatedly blocked or delayed humanitarian aid to Gaza, often denying it. Western officials believe that without US pressure, Israel would not have allowed even minimal humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.
"Under the protection of the American security guarantee, he carried out attacks in Gaza, the occupied West Bank, Lebanon, Syria and Iran, without informing his American allies in advance and despite US warnings of escalation," the newspaper writes.
Neil Oliver:
"I don't know anybody who wants lab-grown meat... who wants to eat insects, who favours CBDCs... who wants to live in a 15 minute city, or who wants a digital ID."
Neil is right, there is no public support for these things. Awareness is growing, but is awareness enough?
An amazingly good job has been done of creating a climate where people are afraid to speak out, for fear of being labelled far right, of opposing progress, of endangering the planet, of opposing "science", of being a "bad person".
Perhaps the time has come for some of us to embrace "our inner bad person" and stand up to the bullies who have created this climate of fear before it is too late..
